Sarath Kongahage presents credentials

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Swiss Confederation Sarath Kongahage, presented his credentials to the President of the Swiss Confederation Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf at the Federal Palace in Berne, Switzerland on January 10.

Following the presentation, the Ambassador had an audience with the Federal President and discussed issues of mutual interest to both countries. The meeting was attended by the Federal Chancellor of the Swiss Confederation and high-ranking officials from the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.
