Danushika Nayana Kumari’s much-talked-about stage play ‘Janelen Paninnada’ which won a large number of awards at the recent National Drama Festival, will be staged at the Lionel Wendt Theatre in Colombo on March 6 at 6.45 pm.
Prasadini Athapatthu who plays the lead role as Waruni won the award for the best actress while director Danushika clinched the best director’s award at the recent STATE Drama Festival.
The other vibrant roles are played by Samadhi Laksiri, AsankaWanninayaka, Nilmini Wijesinghe, Kaushalya Mendis, Thumindu Dodanthenna, Chathuri Dayanika and Nalin Lusena. |
