Sri Lanka's growing construction work, especially in roads, highways and urban infrastructure field has been increasing the demand for crushing and screening plants.
This has necessitated demand for advanced and innovative products which can optimise the output. Tisara Group, sole agents for POWERSCREEN Crushers has introduced numerous new products to meet these demands including some of the largest mobile crushing plants, Sanjeewa W. Goonewardene, Managing Director of the company told the Business Times.
The company recently handed over the first-ever complete track crushing plant in Sri Lanka to CML - MTD Construction Ltd, The new plant consists of Jaw, Cone and Screen all mounted on separate tracks.
This takes the Sri Lankan mining and construction industry to a level on par with developed nations where the user has 100% mobility and flexibility of the products in a fraction of the time compared to conventional stationery crushers or bulky wheeled plants which needs concrete bases, ramps installation and labour to commission the plant, he said. |
