Back to school

The holidays are over,
And back to school we go,
Our books we now must carry,
Our fun it all must go.

For school has now
re-opened,
And knowledge we must gain,
From all of our dear
teachers,
Who do not wait in vain.

The chattering and
welcoming,
From all our friends around,
Relating various stories,
That keep us all
spell-bound.

Clang! Clang! The bell has sounded,
It’s time for us to go,
Each one to their own classes,
To learn our lessons so.
