Visit to Malaysia
My family and I went to Malaysia on a five day holiday. We left Sri Lanka on Malaysian Airlines in the night. We reached the beautiful country in the morning and went to the hotel called ‘Corus’ in Kuala Lumpur.
On the same day we visited ‘
Zoo Negara’. There we saw leopards, tigers, giraffes, ostriches, orangutans, chimpanzees and Malaysia’s largest collection of storks.
The next day we went to ‘Petronas Twin Towers’ which is the world’s tallest twin structure. It is 88 storeys high. We took photographs standing at the sky bridge. From there we went to ‘KL Tower’ which is the fourth tallest telecommunication tower in the world. I had a nice view from the observation tower.
Our next visit was to the ‘Batu Caves’. This had three big caves.
A big statue of Lord Muruga was at the entrance. We had to climb 272 steps to the temple.
Our last visit was to the Genting Highlands. We went to this theme park in a cable car. It was very exciting. I went to the indoor theme park and had a nice time there.
On the last day we did some shopping. I bought some toys for myself and some souvenirs for my school friends. It was a very
enjoyable trip for me.

My school trip
My first school trip was to the zoo. First we went to see the fish. They were all beautiful. Then we went to see the snakes. Afterwards we went to see the monkeys. The monkeys did many tricks and made us laugh. We clapped at them.
We saw many animals such as kangaroos, zebras, lions, tigers, cheetahs and birds.
We saw the mighty elephants.
We had a snack and then we went to play in the park. We all enjoyed that day.
I returned home feeling very happy.
