Volumes at the Colombo tea auction this week continued to remain low, according to the Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers.
The total quantity on offer was 5 million kg of which 0.37 million kg comprised re-prints or previous unsold quantities.
There was improved activity and a dearer trend in prices in most instances perhaps triggered by the limited availability.
