Colombo stocks recorded low gains amidst high turnover on Wednesday mirroring the previous day with analysts saying the same sentiments prevailed at Tuesday’s trading.
The All Share Price Index was down 338 points to close at 12, 584 with S&P SL 20 down by 151.39 points to close at 4, 193 on a Rs. 8.9 billion turnover.
The largest turnover was recorded in Expolanka Holdings at Rs. 2.2 billion followed by Asian Alliance with Rs. 854 million, LOLC with Rs. 566 million, Browns Investments with Rs.520 million and Softlogic Capital with Rs.407 million.
