Sri Lanka Insurance in collaboration with National Transport Commission has introduced an exclusive Motor Insurance package Route Permit Holders to settle their vehicle insurance This scheme was introduced considering the necessity of restoring the normal day to day transport operations of private buses, the company said in a media release.
The concessionary period is applicable for with effect from 30th October 2021 for Route Permit buses and provincial offices of National Transport Commission will be issuing a letter for permit holders confirming the entitlement of this concession. The buses that have been already insured with Sri Lanka Insurance by 30th October 2021 and the buses that are obtaining the insurance facility will be eligible for the concessionary period.
