KBSL Information Technologies, a leading provider of technical solutions in the island, has received the Master Services Competency on Data Centre Virtualization - the highest technical certification given to a VMware partner. This achievement makes KBSL the first partner in Sri Lanka to receive the certification, exemplifying their commitment to achieving excellence in order to deliver exceptional services to customers, it said in a media release.
“We are incredibly proud to have received this achievement, and especially proud of Harshana and our Data Centre team for their dedication to providing our customers with best in class solutions,” said Asela Seneviratne, Chief Delivery Officer at KBSL. “At KBSL, we always look ahead and transform our solutions to be future proof. For us, virtualization is a part of the digital transformation journey and we are incredibly delighted to have achieved this certification in Data Centre Virtualization being the first in Sri Lanka.”
Master Services Competencies (MSCs) are VMware partner designations designed to recognize services-capable partners with delivery expertise and experience within a VMware solution area. Each MSC requires advanced technical certifications and proof of high-level service capability and expertise validated by customers. Achieving a Master Services competency in Data Centre Virtualization validates KBSL as having a high-level understanding of data center virtualization design principles and methodologies.
“There is an immense digital opportunity for Sri Lanka to unlock as organisations adapt, respond and accelerate to the new digital-first future,” said, Devendra Manuvel, Country Manager, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, VMware. “VMware is always excited to work with forward-looking and like-minded organisations to strengthen Sri Lanka’s innovation economy. KBSL’s achievement in being the first in Sri Lanka to receive this certification on Data Centre Virtualization is a testament to their commitment in providing customers with the speed, agility and flexibility they require in their transformation journeys. We look forward to our partnership as we strive to take businesses to new heights in the years to come.”
KBSL is one of the leading Information/Systems Integrators of ICT solutions for enterprises in Sri Lanka and in the region. The company was founded in 1987, as a fully owned subsidiary of the largest conglomerate in Sri Lanka, the John Keells Holdings.
