Colombo equities gained momentum on Wednesday by noon due to the returned investor confidence, analysts said. They added that a positive outlook over the country’s economy had optimised investor confidence.
The All Share Price Index gained 0.23 per cent to settle at 7,307.31 by 12 noon, whilst the more liquid S&P SL 20 Index saw a 0.23 per cent increase to stand at 4,120.50 at this time on a Rs. 699.5 million turnover at this time.
