Foreigners reducing positions at Colombo bourse

Foreigners were seen reducing their positions for the seventh straight day on Monday at the Colombo bourse  with both indices in the red by noon, analysts said. They added that profit-taking in selected blue-chips led the index ti lose gains, they added. As per the earnings reports released so far of 72 companies representing approximately 32 per cent of the market cap, the June quarter earnings have inclined by 29 per cent year on year.
