Under the ‘ Be Their Vision 7.0 project’ organized for the 7th time by the Leo Club of the University of Colombo, an eye health awareness session about the importance of eye safety under the theme "To see the light beyond the darkness" was held by Dr, Kumudu Anthony, senior registrar in ophthalmology on December 5th March 2023 at the sri wijayasundararama purana viharaya, Hunupitiya Wattala
The main objective of this Be Their Vision 7.0 project is to facilitate visually impaired people and to raise awareness among masses to prevent blindness.
Similarly, as the third phase of this project, an eye screening program also conducted at the same date and along with a spectacles distribution also conducted on 26th March.
