An exhibition of renowned architect and artist Tilak Samarawickrema’s work opens at 138 Galle Road, Colombo 03 on April 25. Rekha will bring together Samarawickrema’s tapestries, line drawings, etchings, animated film and sculptural work created between 1970 - 2025, celebrating the depth and breadth of his multi-disciplinary practice. Samarawickrema displays a polymathic persuasion,combining geometry, colour, and form to seamlessly blend folk and traditional art with contemporary sensibilities.
The exhibition will continue until early June.
