All cued for Valentine’s day, the Performing Arts Company’s production of A.R.
Gurney’s play ‘Love Letters’ is on from February 13-16 at the Lionel Wendt at
7.30 p.m.

KALA – presenting a vibrant platform for South Asian art is now on. Catch the
Pivot Glide Echo exhibition celebrating the greats of Sri Lankan art and
contemporary talent and KALA commune – highlighting the works of seven South
Asian artists who were part of an artists’ residency at the JDA Gallery of the
University of Visual and Performing Arts until February 28 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.

‘The Right to Survive: Wetlands and you’ is the topic of the monthly WNPS
lecture, to be delivered by Nishantha Edirisinghe, Manjula Amararathna, and Dr.
Chaturangi Wickramaratne with contributions from a group of young scientists on
February 20 at 6 p.m. at Jasmine Hall, BMICH.
The lecture is all about wetlands and will provide a glimpse of their intricate
relationship with us, while highlighting the need for governance, science and
cooperation.

A Country and Western Musical Nite with Rajitha, Misty and Suzette Croner
from Switzerland of Friends’ fame, will be held on February 21 at the Ramada
Hotel. The show is a fundraiser for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St Theresa’s
Church, Thimbirigasyaya.
