‘Bubble Wrap Colombo’ – the latest restaurant launched by the founders of ‘The Cauldron’ opened its doors to the public yesterday. The centre piece dish of the restaurant is the Bubble Waffles which is a culinary delight in Hong Kong’s and London, a statement from the restaurant said.
A unique menu consisting of items such as Pol Roti Kottu, Pol Roti Burgers and other dishes such as the Kochchi Chicken Waffles with Hot Maple Sauce as well as Chicken Ham, Cheese and Potato Stuffed Waffles, are some of the items on offer.
The Bubble Waffle is now available in a variety of toppings that cater to both non-vegetarians and vegetarian customers.
A caramelized Banana with Peanut Butter and a chocolate ice-cream with crunchy Oreo cookies is another highlight of the menu.
“We are starting with a light menu. But we have lots of exciting ideas to introduce in the months to come,” the founders were quoted saying in the statement.
‘The Cauldron’ and ‘Bubble Wrap Colombo’ are now open to the public from 9 am till midnight daily at No. 68, Stratford Avenue, Kirulapone.
