Bus fare prices increased
The bus fare prices have been increased by 4.01% with effect from tomorrow midnight(02).
This decision has been made following the increase of diesel from August 31 midnight. The diesel price has been increased by Rs.35/-, resulting the price per litre to be Rs.341/-. This decision was taken by the National Transport Commission.
Nevertheless, the minimum bus fare of Rs.30/- has not been increased according to the new pricing formula.
