Govt. to provide uniform materials again to students

The Ministry of Education has decided to provide uniform materials for school children from year 2021 instead of cash vouchers.

The Government stated that it has discussed joining forces with local manufacturing companies in buying to help companies bring production back to the country.

The Yahapalana government introduced a voucher system in 2015 to purchase uniform materials.
