Several parts of Colombo will face a stoppage in water supply for 18 hours starting from midnight today (Dec 15).
Accordingly, the Rajagiriya, Boragasmulla, Athulkotte, Obeysekerapura, Bandaranayakapura, and Nawala areas will be faced with the water stoppage along with the areas surrounding the main road leading towards the Open University in Rajagiriya from Nawala.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water stoppage will be in effect until 06 pm tomorrow (Dec 16).
Maithree Wickramasinghe, wife of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was due to appear before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to record a statement, has requested a two week period to provide her statement.
