Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath is scheduled to travel to Germany and Romania next week.
The Minister explained that a series of high-level meetings has been planned to be held in both countries.
Mr Herath added that he will fly to Germany on Friday, February 27, 2026.
He explained that he would be meeting German Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Johann Wadephul.
The Minister is also scheduled to visit the German city of Bremen and will engage in high-level business meetings to discuss matters such as foreign employment and develop tourism opportunities.
Minister Herath said that he will leave for Romania from Germany on Monday, March 02, 2026 and also hold bilateral meetings with Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Silvia Toiu.
The meetings would focus on foreign employment opportunities, strengthening ties, and developing tourism engagement between the countries.
