The Superintendent of the Anuradhapura Prison Mohan Karunaratne who was remanded by the Anuradhapura Magistrate's Court over the controversial release of a prisoner, was granted bail today.
The court also issued a travel ban on him.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
