The Cabinet has given the go-ahead to restructure the country’s largest state-owned retail network Cooperative Wholesale Establishment (CWE).
approval was granted at the Cabinet meeting held on Monday (July 10) following the proposal submitted by Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security Nalin Fernando.
Hence, an operational monitoring committee will be appointed to follow out proceedings connected to the restructuring of CWE.
