Chairman of Coal company released a statement to confirm social media notice

A statement has been issued by the Chairman of the Lanka Coal Company (PVT) Ltd. Jayantha Rathnayake, regarding an alleged telephone conversation between himself, the General Manager of the Lanka Coal Company and a representative of a coal supplying company, which is currently circulating on social media.

Transport facilities organised for festive season 

The Assistant Manager of the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Centre, D.N. Weththasinghe, stated that arrangements have been made to provide transport facilities for passengers travelling to their hometowns for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
