The ceremonial sittings to welcome the new Justice Preethi Padman Surasena will take place on Thursday.
Justice Preethi Padman Surasena was sworn in as the 49th Chief Justice of Sri Lanka before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Sunday .
‘With decades of experience and judicial service, I am confident he will uphold the highest standards of justice, the President said after the swearing in on his X account.
