Secretary General of Parliament Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera said today that SLPP MP Chamal Rajapaksa participated in the voting with regard to the Resolution for the implementation of the Domestic Debt Optimization to restore the sovereign debt sustainability which was passed by a majority in Parliament recently (01).
Rejecting false media reports that sugegsted MP Chamal Rajapaksa not being present in the chamber at the time of the division, the Secretary-General stated that the SLPP MP has voted in favor of the resolution.
