Considering a request application made by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), the Colombo High Court has issued an order today preventing the use of two luxury apartments located in the Kollupitiya which had been purchased by Ramitha Rambukwella, the son of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.
The two luxury apartments had reportedly been purchased for Rs. 80 million and Rs. 65 million respectively.
Last week, the former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and two other suspects who were implicated in the alleged importation of substandard human immunoglobulin vials were granted bail by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
Mr Rambukwella was released on two personal bails of Rs. 5 million each and a cash bond of Rs. 100,000.
