Permission was granted to Kirulapone Police by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court yesterday (24) to detain MP Rishad Bathiudeen’s wife who was arrested in connection with the death of an underaged domestic aide at the MP’s private residence.
Borella Police also has obtained a 48-hour detention order on Rishard’s father-in-law, brother-in-law and the child broker.
All four suspects were produced before Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjala de Silva Yesterday (24).
