A dispute between two traders resulted in one stabbing the other to death inside the Mirigama Shopping Complex early this morning.
Mirigama Police had responded to a report of one person having been stabbed to death at the shopping complex just past midnight. Though attempts were made to take the victim to hospital using a 1990 Suwaseriya Ambulance, he had already succumbed to his injuries.
The 55-year-old victim is a resident of Murugampala, Mirigama. The suspect responsible for his murder has been arrested and Mirigama Police are conducting further investigations.
