Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith met Pope Francis at the Vatican yesterday as part of his efforts to raise international awareness to obtain justice for victims of the Easter Sunday attacks.
The Archbishop is leading a delegation of Sri Lankan Catholics who are visiting the Vatican to advocate for justice on behalf of the Easter Sunday attack victims.
Cardinal Ranjith earlier warned that he would seek international assistance, including from the Vatican to pressure the Government to address grievances of victims of the attacks.
