Five dead from Ragala house fire, two children among them
Two children, aged one and 11, were among the five who died from a house fire in Ragala, Nuwaraeliya on Thursday night, police said.
The children’s mother (35) and grandparents too have succumbed to the fire that destroyed their makeshift home in Ragalawatte. The cause is yet to be determined. Ragala police have commenced an investigation into the fire. (Pix by G. Kishanthan & Shelton Hettiarachchi)
