Five suspects including an Inspector of Police and three foreign nationals arrested for illegally withdrawing cash from ATM Machines of a state Bank, in the south have been remanded until January 23, Police said.
The Police officer was attached to the Meeghatenna Police.
Two of the foreigners were from Bulgaria and the third was from Canada.
Police have obtained CCTV footage of the foreigners at the ATM machines.
