President Ranil Wickremesinghe today (9) expressed confidence of finalizing the foreign debt restructuring process by mid this year.
President Wickremesinghe in a special statement on the economic situation in the country to Parliament said that discussions are currently underway with the Official Creditors Committee (OCC) regarding the proposed MOU to be signed.
He said discussions are also underway with the Exim Bank of China.
