Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe will take a few days to recover from the health complications caused due to dehydration, Colombo National Hospital, Deputy Director, Dr. Rukshan Bellana told journalists.
He said that currently Mr Wickremesinghe continues to receive treatment at the ICU under the supervision of a couple of medical teams.
He said that the reduced intake of water and the power failure at the court room on Friday resulting excessive heat conditions could have contributed to the condition of Mr Wickremesinghe.
He said that Mr Wickremesinghe would need to rest for the next couple of days with medical treatment and if not could cause heart and kidney problems.
