A group of 116 former Provincial Council members from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and the United National Party pledged their commitment to support President Ranil Wickremesinghe's victory in the upcoming presidential election, the Presidential Media Division said.
The group met with President Wickremesinghe today.
The meeting came a day after 92 Parliamentarians including cabinet ministers met with the President and pledged their support to him at the upcoming Presidential election.
