Forty four protestors including 40 teachers were granted bail by Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage today (05).
Each protester was released on a personal bail of Rs. 100,000 by court. They were arrested at yesterday’s teacher-principal protest march near the Presidential Secretariat. The Magistrate also ordered the release of vehicles seized at the protest march.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has interdicted Colombo Fort Magistrate Kosala Senadheera.
