Health professionals suspend strike

News

The Federation of Health Professionals have called off its proposed strike for tomorrow, following an assurance from Health Minister Dr Nalinda Jayatissa that the government would look into their demands.

The Health Professionals had called the strike in protest against the government's decision to reduce the allowances through the 2025 budget proposals. Dr Jayatissa met with the health professionals today.
