The Sri Lanka Association of Government Medical Laboratory Technologists have decided to conduct a strike tomorrow (March 8).
The Chairman of the Association, Ravi Kumudesh stated that they would be going on a one-day sick note Trade Union action tomorrow from 6:30 AM for a period of 24 hours.
The strike action would be held against the “conspiring behavior” of the Presidential Secretariat by acting to suppress trade union action instead of listening to them, the Association said
However, emergency services, cancer hospitals, Blood Bank, Kidney, Children’s and Maternity Hospitals would not participate in the strike.
