The Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake stated that Secretaries to five Government Ministries received the approval of the Committee on High Posts recently in Parliament.
Approval was granted at the Committee on High Posts Chaired by the Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today (23).
Anura Dissanayake as the Secretary to the Ministry of Irrigation, Sirinimal Perera as the Secretary to the Ministry of Urban Development & Housing, Maj. Gen. Jagath Alwis as the Secretary to the Public Security Ministry received the approval of the Committee for their respective posts.
Committee approval was also granted to Bhadrani Jayawardena as the Secretary to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and R. A. K. K Ranawaka as the Secretary to the Ministry of Lands and Land Development.
Meanwhile, the High Posts Committee approved the appointment of P.M. Amsa as the new Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Approval has also been granted to appoint Air Chief Marshal Sumangala Dias as Sri Lanka's new Ambassador to Italy.

Siddarthan attended the Committee on High Posts Chaired by the Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
