IGP gets another three month extension
A three month extension has been granted to Inspector General of Police C.D. Wickremaratne by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, today..
The appointment has been granted subject to the approval of the Constitutional Council.
The term of the IGP ended two weeks back, but due to difficulties in selecting the new IGP the extension has been granted.
