Members of the Ceylon Bank Employees’ Union held a protest opposite the People’s Bank head office in Colombo 2, today noon (18) .Previously a protest was held near the Bank of Ceylon head office at BOC Square, Colombo 1 on June 13 and National Savings Bank head office on June 14 in Colombo 3, to oppose plans what they call privatization of state banks.
