In Pictures: Ceremonial opening of new Parliament Session
The Fifth Session of the Ninth Parliament was ceremonially declared open by President Ranil Wickremesinghe today (7).
Following the ceremonial opening of the new session, President Wickremesinghe presented the Statement of Government Policy to Parliament according to the powers vested with him under Article 33 of the Constitution.
