The Padukka Police and Medical Officer of Health (MOH) office today conducted an operation to detect individuals who enter the Padukka town without face masks and subject them to PCR tests.
PCR tests were also performed on drivers of trishaws who were transporting more than the number of passengers permitted in a trishaw.
Additionally, PCR tests were also conducted on a random sample of 150 individuals from the area who had completed their quarantine period.
