A group of health sector workers from the Joint Health Workers' Union held a protest march to the Health Ministry premises today demanding solutions to 11 demands, including giving permanent appointments to casual workers who have completed 180 days' service.
A tense situation arose as the protesters attempted to force their way into the Health Ministry premises. However, the protesters later dispersed.
