Protesters rode from the Palestinian Embassy in Sri Lanka to Independence Square today, chanting “Free, Free Palestine” in a show of solidarity against Israel’s military offensive in Gaza.
The peaceful demonstration called for an immediate end to the ongoing war, and urged the international community to intervene.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rizvie Salih joined the demonstration, condemning the humanitarian crisis and expressing support for the Palestinian people.
