The Ministry of Technology and Investment Promotion gazetted earlier has been split into two ministries. Mr Dhammika Perera has been named as Minister of Investment Promotion with the BOI, Colombo Port City Economic Commission, Department of Immigration, Lotus Tower Management Co, Techno Park Dev Co and Information Technology Development Parks under his Ministry.
According to the previous gazette notification issued by the Presidential Secretariat, at least fifteen institutions were brought under the new Ministry.
