Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, and health guidelines issued recently, services provided by the Consular Affairs Division of Foreign Ministry would be limited, Ministry said.
“The health and safety of those visiting the Consular Affairs Division of the Foreign Ministry to obtain its services is our utmost priority. Therefore, we will prioritize the services provided by the Consular Affairs Division to those in urgent/genuine need, during the coming weeks,” according to a statement issued by the Ministry.
The consular services, except the cases of deaths of Sri Lankans overseas and attestation of export documents and other related certificates, are done strictly by appointment only.
