The Department of Railways has prepared trains to go to and from Colombo for the festive season, with a train returning to Colombo tomorrow at 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM from Badulla.
A train from Kankesanthurai would return to Colombo at 4:00 AM on Monday, and another train from Badulla would return to Colombo at 7:30 AM on December 27.
"The project is already underway and most of the trains have departed to their destinations", the Director General (Operations) of Railways, Gamini Seneviratne, told the Sunday Times.
