Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was reappointed as the Leader of the Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna (SLPP) today (15).
The appointment was made at the SLPP convention underway at the Sugathadasa Indoor stadium.
His name was proposed by Mr. Gamini Lokuge and seconded by Jhonston Fernando. The members present approved the appointment.
