A suspect who attempted to sell an expensive conch shell was arrested by the Police on Monday (December 5) by the Special Task Force in Kaththankudi.
The Special Task Force (STF) officers of the Kalmunai Camp conducted a raid of a house in Kaththankudi at 1:20 PM of Monday, where a 42 year old suspect was arrested for possessing an expensive conch shell, which he attempted to sell.
The suspect was handed over to the Kaththankudi Police.
The raid was conducted by officers of the STF Kalmunai Camp including the Second Commanding officer of the Camp Inspector S.M.P.P.M. Dias.
