March 21 declared ‘National Seafarers Day’
In order to appreciate the contribution made by seafarers to the local economy of Sri Lanka, a Cabinet approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva to declare March 21 ‘National Seafarers Day’.
