A special medical clinic for drug addicts in Wattala, Mahabage, Ragama, Kandana, Jaala and Ederamulla police domains under the "Saviya" community rehabilitation program was held at Wattala-Mattumagala Karunaratne Maha Viduhala last Saturday 25th.
 
Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Western Province, Mr. Deshbandu Tennakoon, who participated as the chief guest in this medical clinic jointly organized by the community police units attached to the six relevant police stations, is shown in the photographs of a medical team asking information related to medical examinations and asking the participants of the clinic . .
 
A group of officials including DIG in charge of Western North, Rohan Premaratne, in charge of Kelaniya, Senior Superintendent of Police Basil Krishantha, Assistant Superintendent of Police Herath and a group of officers participated in the event.
 
There, with the support of several medical teams, about 300 drug addicts were examined and treated for various diseases including eyes, teeth, blood, skin, diabetes, and cholesterol.
